SYMPHONIC CHOIR

Symphonic Choir consists of 9th-12th grade students who have passed an audition, or received director's approval, to be in the course. Members of this group can expect to perform in several full choir, small ensemble, and solo competitions. There are high expectations of these students and as such, only the most dedicated students will be invited into Symphonic Choir. Students in this choir travel to music contests and participate in all concerts and activities, including Solo & Ensemble. The choir director will assist with the selection of music and preparation. The students must also take responsibility in learning and memorizing the music outside of rehearsal time. Occasionally, this group may join forces with Chamber Choir to perform collaborative masterworks.
